Define Feminine

This was by far the biggest and most fun video project to work on. Define Feminine is a series of virtual dance performances. Each dance has a different theme, and an overarching theme being the influences society and social norms project onto women. This project was a collaboration between me, the cinematographer and editor, and my girlfriend, the choreographer and director.

Then pressured into certain standards

as isolation

Feeling the solitude of social purgatory

as rejection

Refusing to conform to the narrative

as self

And then reaching acceptance of self authenticity
